01
A careful listener
Elianor works with trauma, attachment and the difficult problem of children’s testimony. She listens for what a child says without turning the account into a story the adult already wants to hear. That commitment to precision is why Mara Ellaby’s drawings become a professional question rather than a convenient ghost story.
02
A method under pressure
The first case sends her from conversation to comparison: rooms, photographs, dates and records that must be treated with care. Her calm is not indifference. It is a way of keeping the child at the centre while resisting explanations that arrive too quickly.
03
Across the trilogy
Elianor is the continuous point of view through three different kinds of investigation: a house, a paediatric ward and an archive. Each new setting tests whether evidence can be understood without taking ownership of someone else’s account.
