A resisting system and a real campaign
Cadets who learned with controlled exercises now face an opposition whose decisions cannot be scheduled for a lesson.

THE FIVE BOOKS · Consequences
BOOK 04 / FIVE · OPEN CONFLICT
Examinations have consequences within the Academy. War carries those consequences to entire systems. The cadets must apply what they learned when the opposition is no longer simulated.

THE BOOK · WITHOUT THE ENDING
As a resisting system becomes the focus of an Accord campaign, the former cadets enter active operations as developing officers. Command decisions now affect fleets, logistics chains, civilian populations and the balance of sovereignty. The Academy’s training offers methods, not comfort. Each character must face the gap between the neat language of doctrine and the damage left by its application.
The fourth book enlarges the scale of the series without abandoning its human center. Military capability, strategic patience and political pressure are all part of the same campaign.
