Privacy overview
Wonders Workshop does not provide visitor accounts or accept payment details on this website. Reading and fantasy tools run in the browser. The Shop displays public Fourthwall catalog data and sends the completed cart to Fourthwall checkout. Google advertising uses the region-specific privacy controls described below. Ordinary links to external social platforms do not load advertising pixels on this website.
No on-site profiles or account registration.
Tool entries stay on the visitor's device unless they choose to clear them.
Payment and shipping details are entered on Fourthwall, not Wonders Workshop.
Google privacy messages provide region-specific advertising choices.
01
The website is operated under the public identity Wonders Workshop. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to [email protected].
02
Cloudflare may process technical information required to deliver, protect and troubleshoot the website. This can include IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or device information, approximate country, network information and security events.
Cloudflare Web Analytics provides aggregate information such as page views, referrers, countries, browsers, devices and performance. It is configured as privacy-first aggregate measurement rather than visitor profiling.
When you email Wonders Workshop, the information you choose to include—such as your name, email address, message and attachments—is processed to read and answer the enquiry.
03
Selected Journal and interactive-tool pages may load Google AdSense code. Google may process device, browser, page, advertising and consent information and may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, limit, measure or personalise advertising, subject to the choices available in Google's Privacy & Messaging consent platform.
Visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a European regulations message with options to consent, refuse or manage choices. Applicable visitors in supported US states are provided with a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” control. AdSense code is not intentionally loaded on the Shop, book pages, collection pages, Black Archive pages or checkout.
A “Privacy and cookie settings” control is available on pages where the Google privacy API is active, and Google may also add its own consent-revocation link.
04
The Book Series Reading Planner, Interstellar Travel Time Calculator and Fantasy Subgenre Finder run in the visitor's browser. Input values are not submitted to Wonders Workshop. The Reading Planner may save the current plan in local storage so it remains available after a refresh.
The Shop uses local storage to remember a visitor's selected variant IDs, quantities, product names and prices until the cart is cleared. It does not store payment-card details, shipping addresses or Fourthwall account credentials.
The dedicated Cookies Policy explains necessary cookies, local-storage keys and optional measurement technologies.
05
The Shop requests public product, image, variant, price and availability data from Fourthwall's Storefront API. These requests may reveal ordinary technical request information to Fourthwall.
When a visitor chooses checkout, the selected Fourthwall variant IDs and quantities are placed in the checkout URL and the visitor leaves Wonders Workshop for the hosted Fourthwall cart and checkout. Payment information, shipping details, order details, customer-service information and any Fourthwall account data are then processed by Fourthwall according to its terms and privacy policy.
06
Technical delivery and security data is processed to operate, protect and diagnose the website. Where applicable, this relies on legitimate interests in maintaining a secure and reliable publishing service.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is used to understand aggregate traffic and technical quality. Google advertising relies on the consent, opt-out and restricted-processing choices applicable to the visitor and region. Email correspondence is processed to answer enquiries, take requested pre-contractual steps, preserve necessary records and comply with legal obligations.
Wonders Workshop does not use website-tool answers to make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.
07
Relevant providers may include Cloudflare for hosting, security and analytics; Google for AdSense and privacy messages; Fourthwall for catalog data and checkout; and email providers used to send or receive correspondence.
These providers may process information in countries outside the visitor's country. Their own contractual, organisational and legal safeguards apply where data-protection law requires safeguards for international transfers. Wonders Workshop does not sell personal information.
08
Technical delivery, security, analytics, advertising and checkout information is retained according to the relevant provider's configuration and retention practices. Reader Vault access cookies expire no later than 90 days, while failed-access throttling data expires sooner.
Reading-plan and cart local storage remains on the visitor's device until it is cleared through the tool, the cart or browser controls. Email correspondence may be kept for as long as reasonably necessary to answer the enquiry, preserve business records, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations.
09
Depending on location and circumstances, visitors may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and the right to withdraw consent for future processing.
Use Google's “Privacy and cookie settings” control on pages where it is available to revisit advertising choices. Browser settings can clear site cookies and local storage. US-state visitors can use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link where applicable.
Requests concerning information controlled directly by Wonders Workshop may be sent to [email protected]. Requests about a Fourthwall order should normally be directed through Fourthwall's order-support process.
10
The website is a general-audience publishing site and is not designed to collect personal information from children. Visitors should not send unnecessary sensitive information by email or through external services.
11
This policy will be updated when the website's services or technical configuration materially changes. The current version and update date appear on this page.
